Geoffroy de Vernou, eMBA
Vice President, Operations

With a degree in agriculture and an MBA, Geoffroy worked for more than 10 years in field crop management in Africa and Asia for the Socfin group. For five years, Geoffroy then worked as a consultant in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for Borealis, with mining and oil groups (Rio Tinto, Glencore, etc.). This position led him to play an intermediary role between local communities and companies while training field agents.
Following this experience, he joined Lemay Nursery, the leading producer of container plants in Quebec, as director of operations. Answering Cannara Biotech’s call, as vice president of operations, Geoffroy sets up the entire white zone organization, from clone propagation to flower storage.
More recently, he joined the multidisciplinary team at Cielo Verde as vice president of operations. Fully leveraging his expertise in large-scale cultivation and his experience in cannabis, Geoffroy manages operations from cultivation to packaging. At Cielo Verde, Geoffroy combines his love of nature with the precision of his scientific training to bring the company’s mission to life.
