Temperature Control Technology

The longer the session, the hotter cartridges run – ruining your vaping liquid. ACTIVE Pulse No Burn Technology® stabilizes the temperature by sending short intermittent power pulses to the cartridge. Overheating is avoided you get to enjoy your full flavour profile from the first to the last puff.

How to Use the Root XL

A clear, step-by-step guide.

1. Charge the battery

  • Plug in the USB-C cable
  • Solid red light: charging
  • Solid green light: fully charged

2. Connect your 510 cartridge

  • Gently screw the cartridge into place
  • Standard 510 threaded connection

3. Turn on the device

  • Press the button 5 times quickly
  • LED confirms activation

4. Use the preheat function

  • Press the button twice
  • White LED turns on for a gentle 5-second preheat

5. Choose your voltage level

To switch between heat settings, press the button three times:

  • Blue light – Low (2.0 V)
  • Yellow light – Medium (2.7 V)
  • Red light – High (3.5 V)

6. Inhale

  • Press and hold the button
  • LED stays lit during inhalation
  • After 10 seconds, heating pauses for 1 second to prevent cartridge overheating
  • You can inhale again right after

LED Indicators

  • 10-second limit: flashes 5 times
  • Short circuit: flashes 3 times
  • Connection error: white LED flashes 3 times
  • Low battery: white LED flashes 10 times
  • Unplugged / idle: no light

The Root XL batteries, distributed by Cielo Verde, are guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship during normal and customary use for a period of 180 days from the date of purchase.

This warranty regarding, the Root XL batteries, does NOT cover normal wear and tear. This warranty excludes damage resulting from abuse, accident, modifications, or otherwise damage caused through the act or neglect of the consumer or a third party.
